Expo Marathon

Expo Marathon  is the place where you can get your race kit and catch up with the latest news in lifestyle, sport, health and nutrition with up to 100 national and international exhibitors.

Please note: Race numbers which are not picked-up during the Expo Marathon-opening hours will expire without refund. There will be NO other possibility to pick them up!

We are looking forward to welcoming more than 30,000 participants and visitors at the Expo Marathon.
The entrance is free for all visitors!

Pasta Party

November 2nd - 12 am to 5 pm

On November 2nd, at the Expo Marathon, the Porto Marathon team will organize a pasta meal specially cooked for athletes.

This rich in carbohydrates meal will give you the extra "fuel" needed for the marathon day!

Pacemakers

For runers who aim for a given time, Porto Marathon is offering you the chance to stick with the pace of an experienced runner. These pacemakers will run with an easily visible baloon/flag attached to them and they will run the marathon to their defined finish time. 3:00, 3:15, 3:30, 3:45, 4:00, 4:15, 4:30 and 4:45.

Wardrobe

Porto Marathon will prepare a big and comfortable space, near the finish line, where Marathon and Family Race athletes can leave their luggage.
All luggage must be identified with the race number.
The organization will not store lose item’s, all the participants belongings must be inside a bag.

Changing tents will be available in the finish scene.

20km – water Vitalis + sponges + Powerade (Energy drink) + food (fruit) + WC

Recovery Point

Next to the finish line will be created a special tent for recovery and massage. All participants in the Marathon - 42k can have acess to this point.

Tea and Coffee

The organization have free hot beverages available for the participants on the Marathon 42k and Family Race 15k , in Queimodromo - finish scene. This drinks will be served until the start of the event - 9h.
